privacy policy

last updated: august 2026

the short version: your wallet keys are generated and encrypted on your own device and never leave your browser. we don't collect your name, email, or browsing history. we can't see your keys, your password, or your funds.

chud.trade is a browser extension that adds a trading panel to supported Solana sites. this policy explains exactly what stays on your device and what — if anything — reaches our servers.

your keys never leave your browser

  • private keys are strongly encrypted with a key derived from your password, using modern, industry-standard cryptography.
  • they are stored only in your browser's local extension storage, on your machine. we operate no server that holds them and have no way to recover them.
  • decryption happens inside the extension's background worker for your session only. the web page you're trading on can never read a key or make the extension sign anything on its own.

what our servers see

  • our relay receives only transactions you have already signed on your device, and forwards them to the Solana network. it never sees your keys or your password.
  • each trade includes a small, fixed platform fee — a transparent transfer inside the transaction. the fee rate is capped inside the extension so it cannot be inflated.

what we collect

  • nothing personal. no names, no emails, no IP-based profiles, no browsing history.
  • we record the trading volume and fees generated by your access code, for analytics and referral attribution. this is tied to the code, not to your identity.
  • the extension reports its version to our relay so we can tell you when an update is available.

third parties

signed transactions are relayed to Solana RPC and transaction-submission providers (e.g. Helius, Astralane) purely to broadcast them to the blockchain. no personal data is shared with them — only the signed transaction, which is public on-chain the moment it lands.

your control

  • you can export any wallet's private key at any time (the 🔑 button in the wallet manager) and back it up yourself.
  • removing a wallet from the extension deletes its stored key from your browser. it does not move funds.
  • uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
